Early Season Goose hunt in Wisconsin


Hunt Geese in western Wisconsin with Tom and Travis Close. These guys are not professional guides, but they’re “Close”… Tom and Travis hunt Geese in Canada for a week every year, and Wisconsin every weekend, and usually manage to kill a bunch of birds every year. You’ll be hunting out of good quality field blinds, over high quality decoys, with good capable callers. The donation is scheduled during the early season when limits are liberal, usually 5 Geese / person … Expect a lot of shooting and a fun time… 


Hunting is hunting, but we will have what we think is a good shoot lined up or we’ll re-schedule at no extra charge. 


Where: Western Wisconsin between New Richmond an Siren (depending on where we find birds)

What is included in the donation:

2 days (mornings only) of hunting for 2 people

All Blinds and decoys

Calling and assistance from Tom & Travis Close

Access to pre-scouted fields on private property

All transportation needed for the hunt – Meet at the Closes

What to expect:

Plan to arrive at the Closes well before daylight, where you transfer into Tom’s truck for the Hunt. We’ll let you know the time arrive the night before the hunt, depending on how far we need to drive. We’ll set up decoys and the blinds and wait on the Honkers. We’ll have lunch in the field before heading home.
